Phantasmagoric Kaleidoscope

The Buddha All-Stars award winning album, Phantasmagoric Kaleidoscope, is the new album of the week, the first half is now available to listen to, or go here to download the songs. We once again spoke to Scott Lozon to get his thoughts on the album:

This album is about an old time medicine show that comes to town, but instead of selling medicine they're selling entertainment, that evening everyone in town gathers by a large fire to find out what all the hullaballo is about, the carny type sales men display a magic box with incredible powers, the box looks like a normal black box except for three things, on top of the box there is a protusion, on the side is a circular knob, and on the front in fancy gold letters PHANTASMAGORIC KALEIDOSCOPE is written, the carnies tell the audience that when you stick your face up to the viewer you will witness images that combine to make a story of absolute terror, and with each turn of the knob a new horror is displayed, our friend J (go to the blog article about Drowning into Darkness to learn more about J) was there that day, this album is his memory of that day and the images that he saw. There is a little more to the story, maybe we'll get to that for the second half.

Well how's that for another crazy story. So go and download the album, turn the lights down low, and listen to our tales of terror. Let us know what you think. The second half will be presented within a week or two.
