Outer Drive

In our continuing quest to explore every road in Southeastern Michigan, Michael and I took a drive from one end of Outer Drive to the other. The idea for this came out of an article I read from an August 2004 Metro Times and my own curiousity. We started on the south side at W. Outer Drive and Jefferson in Ecorse. Alas we got horribly lost around the Conner and Gratiot area, and I didn't remember that it turned into Whittier at the end. So side streets ended up leading us to Lakeshore Drive and the end of our route. It was very strange at the end, after having gone through this quite picturesque view of Detroit, to have this big lake staring you in the face.
