The Monster Mash, or the scariest songs in the world.
So I was looking the other day and noticed that it's been over 6 months since I (TONTO SAVALAS) have posted anything on this blog, and it's been over 12 years since I posted anything relevant.
So I decided to do some extensive polling and research to find the "5 SCARIEST SONGS EVER!!!", my final method for determining the scary factor used voting, online research, and playing the music in a pitch black room at the stroke of midnight and seeing if it left me crying on the floor in the fetal position, so after months of grueling work here they are in no particular order:
Revolution #9 by the Beatles
Season Of The Witch by Vanilla Fudge
Something In The Way/Secret Song by Nirvana
Strawberry Fields Forever by the Beatles
Any song by the Silver Apples
So those are the "5 SCARIEST SONGS EVER!!!"
You may notice that there are no Tonto Savalas or Buddha All-Stars songs included in the list, I felt that it would be unfair to include our songs, but you may find it interesting to know that if included they would have taken up 16 of the 20 SCARIEST SONGS EVER!!!

I am so glad that "Revolution #9" was your number one "Scariest Song". I couldn't agree more.
You probably haven't heard John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Two Virgins" album or I'm sure that would have been in the top 5 as well. Just think of "Revolution #9" but longer and scarier.
I have such fond memories of sitting with you in your mom's basement listening to "Revolution #9". I still maintain that that song scarred me for life.
